The Dinsdale breeding program began in the early '90's concentrating on the Pepper & Salt variety.  In 2005 we bred our first Black Standard Schnauzer litter and are now actively involved in both colours

We are proud of our show success and in having produced Canada's # 3 Standard Schnauzer in 2002 Ch.Dinsdale Captain Tempete, Canada's number 1 Standard Schnauzer in 2004 was Breeze,  Ch.Dinsdale Double Trouble  followed by claiming the #2 spot in 2005.    Most recently her daughter Lia, Ch.Dinsdale Champagne Celebration was #1 Canadian Standard Schnauzer in 2006 and 2007, #2 in 2008 & 2009.

We have had wonderful show results over the years, but conformation showing really isn't our focus, we are trying to produce first and foremost a canine companion of solid temperament that will make a fine companion, this is the most important component of your future dog.  Next comes structure and all the things that make a Standard Schnauzer the breed they are

Below is Kodie, my first Standard Schnauzer.  Kodie was 8 months old when she came to into my life winning my heart.  That was back in 1990, a life time ago.  Many Schnauzers have come into my life since then, but she will always be the first.
